We caught more then the wave, while attending Norvis JR's new residency at Atlantis in Brooklyn. There were some serious vibrations shaking the minds and spirits of all patrons this night.
It started off with none other then Wrex Mason, the Producer/Emcee blessed the speakers with a beat set of Lo-Fi Space Soul that def had us vibing. And sadly due to malfunctioning camera issues, we didn't get to photograph him. Our sincere apologies, until next time.
What followed was a performance by Queens D. Light, hailing from the left coast. She blessed the crowd with some seriously fierce lyrical content and production. With a special feature from Duckwrth who popped on stage to perform a new song, as well as a collabo between the two.
As Norvis JR played crazy ass beats in between each set, the vibes were never ending.
Next on the stage was a personal favorite, the super ill and chill VHVL. She played a set of soulful electronic rhythms that healed as they sonically moved the room.
Up next we were blessed with a set by none other then Black Spade. The soulful producer, rapper and singer tore it down with an eclectic set that gave a good view of all his talents.
The closers for the night were the Big homie P.U.D.G.E who has us losing it every time we catch a set from him. Between the crazy remixes he flips to the amazing production he creates, he is a master of his craft.
And of course the final act the man... Norvis JR himself, played an energized, enticing set of new and old songs and kept the listeners on the main floor !
