This swiMMMer's ear presented event at SOB's, popped off with some synth trap from Suzi Analogue. Hitting the stage and blessing the eager crowd with some sounds that were sure to get you hyped and moving. In her masterful technique of layering a few of her vocals on top, you get the Suzi sound she is known for and suddenly you have confirmation the space ship has landed.
As Sonnymoon hit the stage featuring J. Hoard on back up, the quartet went on to play a super charged electro set that was both beautifully arranged and visually engaging. Dane's genius melodic keys played as Anna the Wise took a moment to truly jam with the audience and make almost a full run around the venue with a crown of lights, we watched as this soul fairy sprinkled her magic dust via sound wave.
We also listened to a DJ Set from the brother Iman Omari who had been blessing the sounds system all night in between sets.
Norvis JR's high spirit and soulful electronic sound was backed by a visual menage of his art work which only elevated the element of amazement that the crowd beared witness too. He played some cuts off his brand new mixtape release as well as choice cuts from his extensive discography. Thanks swiMMMer's ear for the curated goodness.
