Bloodhounds "tenaciously track" and here at Bloodhound NY we fully enjoy hunting down the illest threads brought to us through an eccentric bunch of souls that came before us.
One of our favorite vintage spots to go is L train Vintage's No Relation Shop, one of their many boutiques from a line of locations spread throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. No relation is a giant warehouse made up of two large converted industrial buildings. Temptation always looms and whispers sweet words in my ear as I pass thru the Gowanus..... "Make yourself new in our old" and we just have to creep in.
A great staple to have in one's wardrobe is a denim jacket. Great alone or as a layering piece, under or over other jackets, in the colder temps. So how could one say "NO" to a vintage Jordache denim jacket, discovered at No Relation, with silk fabric patched dollar bills. Yeap I said Dolla dolla bills yo. Classic with a quirky twist.... PERFECTO for sassy eclectic style. And peep the newspaper bag with Lucite handle, also vintage.
Another great find from No Relation is this men's tribal button up shirt & military 70's backpack, paired with modern Street/Skate wear clothing. Perfect combination for a stroll through Brooklyn, vinyl record digging.
PS...Hope you like our photography locations as we thoroughly enjoy shooting in more gritty, untouched parts of the city. As gentrification pushes through, some forget about the "real" parts that make the city so great.
